Galette Des Rois 2026
Celebrate Epiphany, or just another excuse to sample a French tradition: a special cake available only in January.
The Galette Des Rois Tradition
Tradition calls for a charm to be baked into the cake, and the person who gets the slice with a charm gets to wear the paper crown each cake comes with. Traditionally that also means you are on the hook to buy the next one! Typically the charm is baked into the cake - yours will be included in the cake box along with the crown. Just insert it at the bottom, give it a spin and serve!
Brioche-based Galette
This is the oldest recorded version of the King's Cake, dating back to the medieval ages, and the most common throughout the southern part of France. It is a brioche dough infused with orange flower water, and decorated with candied fruit. NOTE: cakes are made fresh to order and will be available 48 hours after order is placed.

Puff Pastry-based Galette
This has become the most common type sold in France, especially in Paris and Northern regions. It is made with two layers of all-butter puff pastry encasing an almond cream in the middle. NOTE: cakes are made fresh to order and will be available 48 hours after order is placed.
